I like statement makers. On the sleek side.

That is why I am drawn to this large root cuff by Jennifer Fisher. Cast from polished gold-plated brass, this flexible piece can be worn on the wrist or upper arm.

Jennifer's pieces are uniquely bold, created out of her own personal style necessity in 2005. A California native and former wardrobe stylist, Jennifer was searching for a piece of jewelry that not only spelled her first child's name, but also expressed her personal style. Lucky for us, she was unable to find anything which forced her to design something. And when friends, family and even strangers requested their own piece specially designed by Jennifer, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry was born.

I have loved this Marni sandal since it made its first appearance around this time last year. It is simple, modern and looks super comfortable! Italian made with adjustable buckle closure, you can find this style in several neutral color ways.

January may not feel like the time to buy spring sandals, but I give you permission. In fact, this is when I do all my pre-orders for clients. Those special items you've been eyeing, grab them while you can.

It's January and 70 degrees outside. What a tease.

Though I love winter (yes I do) the break has been nice. This month every year my focus shifts to spring pre-orders for clients. And guess who made my list?

Azzedine Alaia is one of the world's most respected fashion designers. Honest. Shy. Yet doesn't bow to the pressures or demanding timetables of the fashion industry.

The spring collection is full of sculptural silhouettes and meticulous craftmanship. And, oh the shoes!

We are mineral deficient. And the main culprit in this disturbing nutritional trend is soil depletion.

Unfortunately, modern agricultural methods have stripped increasing amounts of nutrients from the soil in which the food we eat grows. Worse yet, each successive generation of fast-growing, pest-resistant produce is truly less good for you than the one before (*Scientific American).

The key to healthier produce is healthier soil. That's why buying organic is important. However, that may not be enough. To ensure my body absorbs the nutrients it needs, I take Dr. John Gray's Mars Venus Super Minerals. This vitamin offers a large amount of minerals for healthy brain chemistry, preserving memory and helping you feel happier each day. It contains potassium, calcium, Vitamin D3, magnesium, zinc, chromium, lithium, boron, ginger root powder, apple cider vinegar powder and Ionic AlfalfaTM, and is delivered directly into my cells. Coupled with other important supplements, I feel confident my ever-so-boring annual doctor checkups will continue to be boring. Which, as my doctor says, is actually quite perfect.

While item is shown bundled with other products from Dr. John Gray, I am happy to order the single bottle of Super Minerals for you if you like.

I am not sure what I love most about this bag — the small size, the cone studs or that red tag!

How about the multiple ways to carry it.

Fendi brings a modern edge to this lightly structured small shoulder bag, featuring versatile detailing and fabulous color ways. The By the Way bag has flat straps on the sides that are perfect for sliding over your hand and carrying as a chic clutch, or use them as top handles for a sophisticated satchel-inspired style. Of course crossbody is certainly a great option.

The gray-blue color is delightful for spring, and all year round, for that matter.
