VitaminEeyebalmBack in April, I had the opportunity to meet the founder of One Love Organics, Suzanne LeRoux, while visiting Savannah, GA. Having made the switch to natural, non-toxic skin care years ago, I had already been using a few of her products when we met.

I love what this skin care line contains as much as I love what it doesn't contain. One Love Organics uses the most effective ingredients on the market, like their award–winning organic chia supercritical extract, innovative plant stem cells and clinically proven D’Orientine S. And their list of nevers: GMO, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Nanoparticles, Silicon, PEG, Synthetic perfumes and dyes. Fantastic!

That day, I walked away with a new product in hand, the Vitamin E Eye Balm, a powerful blend of Vitamin E, organic shea butter, pomegranate and sea kelp. Not even halfway through the container, this stuff lasts forever! It's super hydrating and can be used morning (sparingly) and evening (generously). 100% of the total ingredients are from natural origin and 91% of the total ingredients are from organic farming. More impressive, One Love Organics’ award-winning skin care products are produced in micro-batches at the company’s ECOCERT® licensed manufacturing facility in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

If you haven't made the switch to all natural goodness, this is a great line to transition into. Your skin will love it! And so will your wallet.

I am ecstatic it's back. And with a vengeance.

My navy velvet booties cannot wait to make an appearance this season. I have no doubt they will be my 4-days-a-week go to.

With all the delicious velvet varieties out there, I feel the need to add a few more to my shoe game. How about velvet sneakers?

This rich claret sneaker by Gianvito Rossi is made from plush velvet. Trimmed in leather, it provides comfort while making a statement at the same time. Pair with cargo skinnies and a tee or black cropped pants and a sweater. In fact, you may want to wear them with everything!

Sweater season is almost here.

I love a cozy sweater. Thank goodness there are endless style choices this season. Cropped, asymmetrical, long, oversized, fringed, frilly, colorful, edgy — yes, everything you can imagine.

This one, in particular, I have my eye on. Made with touches of mohair and wool in a chunky, slightly open knit, this asymmetric hem sweater by Ann Demeulemeester spawns a plethora of fabulous looks for fall. It comes in cream and black for easy outfit coordination, whether on the neutral or colorful side.

Hail to the sweater!

YSLtheshockShocking indeed!

There aren't many mascaras that impress me. However, this one lived up to its name.

Mascara and I go way back. In fact, ten years ago I started The Mascara Report due to overwhelming disappointment in the world of mascara. And while I wish I had the time to continue the report to help guide lash enthusiasts in the right direction when selecting a mascara, this will have to serve as my stamp of approval.

Mascara should serve your purpose. And yours may be different than mine. I have high expectations and I realize it. However, there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to find the perfect mascara match. My absolute musts — volume, length and positively no clumping, smudging, smearing or flaking.

How did The Shock fare?

There is no doubt this is the most volumizing mascara by Yves Saint Laurent. The hourglass shaped brush allows the formula to grab hold of lashes. Because of that, it lengthens automatically. What was most shocking for me was the ability to get the look that I wanted without compromising my need for 'work all day' mascara. Literally in one coat it did everything I wished for with complete ease. It's even sweat proof! Yet, at the end of the day, it comes off incredibly easy (and I have no idea how YSL does it). The only drawback is the life of The Shock. A month to a month and a half can be expected. In my book, well worth it.

marnibagfw17You can tell I am in fall buying mode for clients, as my mind shifts to everything dark. Yet, one surprise here — a color-punched strap.

This adorable, black leather Marni bag with teal accents features a foldover top with clasp closure, an accordion-style interior, gold-tone hardware, a top handle and a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. It's highly functional and, of course, timelessly elegant.

While the Tuk crossbody bag is perfect for your day adventures, it moves effortlessly into evening.
