Scarf addiction. Check!
There are always opportunities to wear scarves. Nine months of the year, in fact.
One of the most transitional pieces from season to season happens to be this particular accessory. Easy layering.
And Étoile Isabel Marant's striped scarf has my attention. Woven from a sumptuous blend of wool and cashmere, this scarf is lightweight and super soft.
Essential and timeless.

With this winter chill upon us, I have grown tired of my puffer coat. Not that it doesn't come in handy, providing warmth. I just crave something more refined.
Like this crisp white wool-blend crepe coat by Chloé. It's delicious, isn't it?
The Italian-made design has been impeccably tailored with a weighty fabric and oversized lapels and pockets. I can easily imagine this over jeans with fur sneakers, as well as over a fabulous dress paired with spectacular heels.

Everyone has a wedge this spring. It's the shoe of the season.
Miu Miu, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Valentino and, of course, Chloé.
This elevated suede espadrille by Chloé features supple suede with playful fringe, bringing on that boho vibe. This may possibly be the shoe you live in for months! I love the comfort, style and functionality of wedges. Unfortunately, my narrow foot requires a bit more structure than this one. Rest assured, though, I already have my wedges for spring.
What's your favorite style?

While the big snow missed us, there was plenty of opportunity for the kids to get outside to sled. And boy did they have fun!
Now that the snow and ice are melting, my mind has shifted to spring 2016 colors and styles. This getup by MSGM sums it up. With rose quartz being the 2016 color of the year, with serenity (think periwinkle), I plan to embrace my blush pink side. And I definitely intend to utilize bold pairings like this.

As everyone is freaking out about the potential 'blizzard,' all I can think about is wearing my new ski clothes that never made their way out of my suitcase over the holidays in a ski resort near the upper peninsula Michigan (because there was no snow for the first time in 20 years). Well, that and wearing another pair of my favorite boots.
Which leads me, yet again, to Cucinelli. My mother now curses me for introducing her to this designer. I mean ... I have no words. This is one designer that has every inch of my heart.
Moving back into reality, visiting the grocery store this evening — no, not for bread and milk, but for wine, because I have enough superfoods to feed an army — I just had to laugh. We are funny, aren't we? As if we cannot live a day without bread and milk. But yet, I dream of boots...
