If the snow hasn't inspired a few outfits, you're not looking in the right places.

White on white happens to be one of my all-time favorite looks. Any time of the year. And this snow definitely has me dreaming of everything white and delicious. Especially fur.

While our little style challenge is right around the corner, I want you to prepare by letting the great outdoors inspire a new outfit for you — right out of your closet. If not all white, how about just a little? White jeans. Or, a white sweater. Maybe a white coat.

Go on. Get into your closet and get to work!

Layer up, baby!

The wind is kicking in. Cold temps are coming back. It's time to rethink warmth. I'm talking jacket over popover over tee. Skinny cords will keep you a bit warmer than jeans. And definitely socks with boots. As for outwear, make it furry! Like this fun peacock-inspired fuzzy number.

And don't forget your scarf!

Here we go. Another celebration to prepare for.

Will you be getting your dancing shoes on? Or cuddling up on the couch to watch the ball drop? I have to admit, even with the fabulous invites, we may sit this one out. But boy do I have wonderful options for you!

How about a side cutout dress? Chain detailed top or dress? Fur tee with cropped leather leggings and kickin' heels? Velvet shorts with a lace blouse? Oh, the list goes on.

However you decide to spend New Year's Eve, do so in style!

seeingstarsSpecial occasions call for special attire.

Like a dress with a sheer panel or shimmery fabric. Perhaps even laser cut or appliqué detail.

This season is all about feeling festive, whether you are curled up on the couch in blankets with a cup of tea or tearing up the dance floor at your black tie event. Either way, enjoy being in the moment.

Whip out that special pair of earrings handed down to you from your grandmother. Or those crystal embellished heels you've been waiting to slip into. They will look just as good on you whether you stay home or go out.

In the midst of your hectic holiday schedule, remember to take care of yourself. It's easy to get caught up in the cooking, baking, holiday soirées and school events. To the point of exhaustion. Breathe. Often.

And style the holidays your way.

This year, I am taking holiday party attire in a cozy chic direction. White fuzzy happiness paired with bold leather. Yes!

While comfort isn't the first thing you think of when selecting holiday ensembles, you must consider how you will be moving during your events. Who wants to wear a dress you can't sit in? And what about dancing? Keep an open mind this season. Perhaps it's time to simplify. Not sure how? Call me.
