It's that time. Festive up!

I love the holidays. Especially dressing my clients for all their parties and events.

This time of year, it just makes sense to put on something special and be merry with those around you. Don't get me wrong, I am all about mixing it up — tee and long formal skirt with riding boots, feather skirt and blouse with moto boots or shorts and tee with jacket and thigh high boots. Holiday ensembles don't have to be typical. It's all about expressing your style. Whatever you fancy it to be!

And if you can't figure it out, call me!

I so enjoy this time of year, getting my clients set and ready for all of their upcoming parties and events. Such a festive season!

If you haven't already done so, it's time to whip out all your options to ensure you have the variety you crave.

While you may be inclined to change out the dress, I prefer switching up shoes. These Emilio Pucci suede boots are beautifully embellished with beads and embroidery in ivory, coral and forest-green. I love that the gold studded leather harness is detachable for those moments when you want to ditch the edge.

These are the perfect shoes to draw attention away from the fact that you are wearing the same dress to two events. Trust me, all eyes will be on your feet!

Most days, my hands are cold. Some nights, freezing.

It's not unusual for me to do client work on my computer while in gloves. Yes, it's possible.

I am dreaming of these butter soft leather mittens by Karl Lagerfeld. They are lined in fleece and topped with faux fur for a luxuriously cozy feel. The padded cuffs lock in warmth on the coldest of days. I am in love!

It doesn't take much to make me happy when it comes to gloves. But, these are every bit of fabulous!

From one day to the next, the weather changes.

Super hot. Cold and wet. Muggy.

That's what layers are for. So, I'm okay with it. Even if that means wearing denim cutoffs with a fabulous poncho sweater. And sweaters. Yes, sweaters are big this season. Warm. Fuzzy. Goodness.

Over the past several weeks, I can attest that sweaters have made almost every client shopping list. In addition to mine. It's an easy form of self expression

From here on out, there will be upsy and downsy days with regard to weather.

Case in point: three days ago, it was almost early boot season. Yet the last two days, steamy. What that translates to, wardrobe preparation. It's easy when you have the right pieces in your closet to choose from. Especially when they transition beautifully from one season to the next. Such as summer into fall.

What's best about moving into fall — whipping out the boots! Along with the ability to wear them with shorts. I adore the look. Yes, especially thigh high boots. And my new beauties look just like these!

Time to rethink how you view your summer wardrobe. Find ways to carry it into fall. Or, hire me to!
