Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons, but most importantly, the precious time spent with family. As you prepare your menu for all the days surrounding the holiday, be sure to schedule time for lounging. Whether lounging means playing board games, going to the movies or casual entertaining, here's an outfit that will cross over to almost any family event.

Tunics are easy, and this black satin jersey bib tunic is not only comfortable, but stylish. I love it over cream cords, adding a pop of color with shoes, like these Moschino Cheap & Chic teal suede peep-toe wedges from Piperlime. Add more color with a clutch — something easy to grab and go. Have fun with jewelry. Perhaps play around with a tiered necklace and antiqued copper tone filigree earrings.

If you are heading out of town for the holiday, please be safe in your travels. You'll be glad to know this outfit travels nicely, too. However, I would recommend switching your shoe to a boot. Boots will keep your toes warm and cozy.
