metallic1What's not to love about this bag. It's big enough to fit all your essentials, and then some. It's metallic so it will go with everything in your wardrobe. It has minimal hardware so it's not fussy. It's perfectly stylish!

vintage-trenchIf you don't yet have a trench coat, it's time to invest in one. Not only has it been in my fashion files and forecasts for several seasons, it is a wardrobe staple that every woman should own.So, what do I have my eye on? For one, a vintage inspired black trench. Classic, chic, and always in style.

I am also really digging satin trenches like this one by Catherine Malandrino. Michael Kors has a nice one, too. And check out this one in pomegranate. Tahari's version in blue is fantastic. Target even carries a nice satin trench by Mossimo Black label trench for $39.99. So really, there's no excuse not to have a trench in your wardrobe.
I say it every season, but it's the truth. Good skin is always in. If your skin is looking good, you will look and feel good all over.

With Fall approaching, it's important to get into a healthy skin care routine. If you tend to be on the dry side, like me, look for super hydrating formulas that penetrate the skin. If you tend to be oily, reach for something noncomedogenic and less emollient. I have gathered a short list of some of my favorites. For facial cleansers, I love Theraderm Cleansing Wash and Obagi-C Rx System - C Cleansing Gel. Both lather nicely and leave skin clean and soft, not stripped of moisture. There are some really great serums on the market - ingredients are key. My picks: IS Clinical Active Serum, Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% Strength, Boots No. 7 Restore & Renew .

I am particular about moisturizers. They must penetrate deep into the dermal layers to keep skin hydrated all day (and all night) versus sitting on top of the skin. My picks: Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer, Creme d'Olives, Bioelements Sleepwear, Boots No. 7 Protect & Perfect Night Cream, and Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance optimale rich. And there are some great kits, from regular size to travel, such as Theraderm Skin Renewal System, SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex & Dermal Repair Cream, Om Aroma Co. Luxe Face Collection, and Leaf & Rusher Mini Essentials.

Remember to exfoliate up to 2-3 times a week, depending on the product you are using. And masks act as multi-taskers, helping to either detox, tighten pores, firm, hydrate or a combination thereof. If you have any questions about various products, please feel free to reach out.
On my top 10 for Fall must haves is the bootie (or ankle boot). I cannot get enough of this shoe. It's such a functional part of our wardrobe, from Fall through Spring. And it adds instant style. I recommend black or gray for this season. Not only due to Fall's color palette, but also since they will work with most everything in your wardrobe. It's a great shoe for pants, as well as skirts and dresses (pair with black opaque tights). So run, don't walk ... and get yourself some booties!

Shop for brands such as Nine West, Donald J Pliner, Giuseppe Zanotti, BCBGirls, Betsey Johnson and more. And check out Piperlime’s selection of boots, in addition to their great sale going on.
  1. Yet again, a patent leather bag. But this time, in a cheery color such as hot pink or teal.
  2. Soften up your eyes with mascara in navy, amber or deep purple. And look for beautiful new shades of eye shadow and liners.
  3. Metallic ballet flats. Or bright patent leather. But don't break the bank if you are a heel wearer like me.
  4. Beautiful, bright colored dresses! And those dresses keeping within the forecast for SS08.
  5. Good skin - it's always in!! If you must use foundation, ditch your liquid and switch to powder.
  6. Belts. Thin and pretty or double wrapped.
  7. Cuffed jeans.
  8. Mixing a gingham top with this skirt.
  9. A fun trench coat.
  10. A sexy pair of heels - in a bright color. (I am drooling over Versace's blue patent leather high-heeled sandals, however, not only can't I afford them, I can't find them anywhere!!
