Yes. I find it completely acceptable to post about spring directly after a snow storm.

While the big snow missed us, there was plenty of opportunity for the kids to get outside to sled. And boy did they have fun!

Now that the snow and ice are melting, my mind has shifted to spring 2016 colors and styles. This getup by MSGM sums it up. With rose quartz being the 2016 color of the year, with serenity (think periwinkle), I plan to embrace my blush pink side. And I definitely intend to utilize bold pairings like this.

CoatFW15

I spend too many hours on various lacrosse fields (and the streets of NYC) to second guess my outerwear. Who wants to be cold? Not I, that's for sure.

There are many winter coats that I depend on. However, I think I just may need to add this one.

Nicholas K's sherpa-lined coat with leather and brass detail is street chic! I just love the way it fastens all the way up. I can imagine staying super warm in this long coat.

It's like wearing a sherpa blanket!

Yes, this is exactly what I need right now. A fresh take on fall.

International Lead Makeup Stylist Jane Richardson shows us how to create a look using products from the NARS fall 2015 color collection. Dramatic smoky shimmering brown and golden ombré eyes and iconic red lips. Stunning!

I had my heart set on fur sneakers this year.

I even thought I landed on the pair.

However, I couldn't get over a few details, so I moved on. Until, I stumbled upon Emilio Pucci's lamb fur and leather snow boots. Though, I swear they remind me more of a sneaker. Patent leather laces with metal details, rubber soles. Yes, I think these will do!

chloecoatA little chill in the air.

Last Saturday, it was more than a chill. It was downright cold. Or, was it because it was the first of the season?

I ran into a friend this morning and he brought the whole concept of 'first' to light. When we move from summer into fall, there are days that surprise us. No matter how much we want fall temps to grace us, when we experience an unusually cold day, it's a shock to our systems.

No reason not to be prepared. How about with this Chloé wool-blend black coat with furry shearling trim collar. The two-way zip front and slightly stepped hem makes an elegant statement no matter what you're layering it over.
