Season's Must Haves
Erica Hanks, Sonya Barnes and I (yes, still a redhead) interpreted five of Neiman's top spring trends — Cool Blues, Orange is the New Neutral, Relaxed Chic, Amazing Lace and Print Mania. Here are the looks I pulled:
It was all over when I saw these DvF sea green sequins track pants. It was destined to be my blue look. Paired with an ivory leather tank, turquoise leather jacket, mint scarf, aqua handbag and turquoise sling backs it is beyond cool, calm and collected.
For my next look, I decided to, yet again, mix side-by-side colors — tangerine, coral, hot pink and bold orange. Easy, but delicious!
As for relaxed chic, there's no other translation for me than all white. Parisian chic! I anchored it with navy suede studded Pradas and a black YSL bag. And gold, gold and more gold jewelry!
Lace can be tricky. It was important for me to pull together an easy, anyone-can-do, casual look. By layering a delicate lace top over this striped sleeveless blouse and pairing it with white shorts and gladiator sandals it becomes believable. And doable.
Last but definitely not least, print mania. And yes, I had to do it in all black and white — black and white paisley pants, black and white polka dot blouse and black and white striped jacket. I would so wear this anywhere! I brought in a little cobalt blue in the earrings and just had to accessorize with a yellow handbag and black pumps. The proportions are perfection.
Can't wait to do it again!
