Oh, this snow!

I love it. I wonder how long I will be saying that?

It's so beautiful and freeing. Snow days allow you to drop everything in order to enjoy every single moment. My moments have ranged from cooking up a storm and feeding the kids in my neighborhood, sledding and playing in the snow, and the highlight, visiting my son's friend (one of my football boys) during his chemo treatment in the hospital right down the street from us. It doesn't get any better than that. Except for the fact he thought my brownies were the best brownies he has ever had. Good gracious I love that boy!

Enjoy your winter wonderland. Every second.

What a year! And it's only just begun.

Coming off of an amazing month — wonderful clients, crazy good commercial shoot and a smidge of travel (with more to come) — I am re-energized to look at this year with a clearer lens. 2014 is rocking my world in all the right ways.

So, I was thinking about this little style challenge that I've been introducing to my clients for the past three years. What if we all do it together? It involves every ounce of your closet, some creativity and a free spirit. Are you game?

Stay tuned ...

Mad dash! Off for a girls weekend away.

I calculated last night, it's been way too many years since I've taken a trip, or even mini trip, with friends. Shame on me. We all need to get away from time to time to relax, unwind and just be. And I am giddy at the moment.

While I haven't yet packed, I won't miss my morning workout. But in my mind I am definitely packing my camo skinnies to be paired with a big chunky sweater and my chained moto boots. As for Saturday evening, not sure, but it will involve heels.

Here's wishing you some weekend girl time!

2014 is bound to bring adventure, challenge, excitement, love and major style. And I am eager to jump right in!

As I reflect over the past year, I recognize that even a wardrobe stylist can find herself in a style rut. I vow to take more risks this year. I also plan to re-evaluate my personal style and determine a few new directions.

We evolve. So, too, does style. Don't beat yourself up because you relied on the easy choices, far too often. Recognizing that you are ready to move on is growth! There will be many stepping stones in your style journey. Today leads to tomorrow. How do you want to present yourself to the world?

Get into that closet. Right now. Does it make you giddy? Or, does it frustrate you? If it's the latter, it's time to call me.

Get ready for the style ride of your life!

The hustle and bustle of pre-holiday planning, multiple celebrations during the season, baking, cooking and more baking, and gearing up for client style sessions upon my return has my head spinning. I've also come to realize my over indulgence in goodies is showing up on my tush.

No worries. Plenty of time to get back to my routine. And plenty of time to day dream about 2014 and all its wonders.

Breathe. Reflect. Appreciate. More amazing moments are on their way.
