Dr. Brandt's lineless eye cream
I really enjoyed the texture of this eye cream. It held moisture to the skin around my eyes well. It states that it helps diminish puffiness. So I gave it a whirl in the mornings and it faired well. I can't say I have been using it long enough to vouch for the fight against wrinkles, though. B worthy.

Kitten Vixen's Eye Put A Spell On You Eye Kit in Bewitching Burgundy
What fantastic marketing and packaging. The concept is awesome, too - giving me almost everything I could possibly need for my eyes. I was hoping the color would be more burgundy than brown. And I did not think the liner was silky smooth as touted. However, really like the look on my eyes. It's soft, yet catching. I did not care for the mascara on the other end of the tube. The color would have been great but the brush and formula didn't do it for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and look forward to trying more colors. I give this a B+.

Kitten Vixen's Mascara
Again, it's all about the brush and formula for me. Due to the fact I wouldn't purchase the mascara, I will not grade this.

Dr. Hauschka's Translucent Bronze Concentrate
Brilliant, really. I do not wear foundation. And tinted moisturizers are typically too dark on my skin (I am very pale). This product, I love. You just add it to the last liquid step in your routine (which should be sunscreen in case we haven't met). It gives a nice glow and a faint touch of bronze. You really can't detect bronzeness or sparkly flecks. It's just something that I cannot describe but know that I like. Definitely an A.

Shu Uemura's Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O
When I first received a make-over at the Shu counter and Neiman Marcus, I thought I just had to have this product. It smells fantastic and claims to be a good antioxidant cleanser. However, it also claims to be a one step solution to removing make-up and cleansing. Not. It does a great job at removing make-up, as it's an oil. However, I always felt the need to follow up with my regular facial cleanser just to feel clean. I noticed blemishes from time to time. I cannot state for sure that they came from this product. But for $72 a pop, I would not repurchase. In fact, I need to find someone to give it a loving home. This one gets a C.

Shu Uemura's lash repair
I have mixed feelings about this one. I have used primers in the past and been quite happy. This product is supposed to not only be a primer but a repairer. The product is too wet to be a good primer. Mascara does not follow this product well, by any means. My lashes flopped after attempting this. However, I really liked using it at night ... felt like I was doing something healthy for my lashes. I did not notice much of a difference in the appearance of my lashes - but the price point is good. I give this a B-.

Hermes' Silk twill scarf in black/orange
First of all, it's Hermes. What's not to love. The fact that these are signature colors makes it even better. I am not much of a true size scarf person. However, I have been tying small scarves around my wrists for over 4 years now. I have only recently moved up to Hermes, though. The quality is definitely there. Worth the money - if you are going to wear it. You can find cute ways to wear scarves - or just reference Hermes' book. I have even tied one around my ankle (about 3 years ago in the summer). Love this, A.

Bottega Veneta's Large Veneta icon handbag in espresso
Yummy, signature leather. Dark, rich color. Goes with everything and transcends seasons and trends. Expensive, yes. But a classic and will never go out of style. Though it took forever to get, I am quite happy to have one. Definitely an A.
