angiegattonWith my line of work, I have the opportunity to meet many wonderful people in the industry. Every week I am introduced to someone (and something) new and exciting.

While CAbi isn't new, it has certainly gained exciting momentum!

Ironically, through middle school football I have come to know the lovely and inspiring Angie Gatton, CAbi Fashion Consultant. Who says you can't be fashionable on the football field, anyway? Long before Angie was a representative for CAbi, she was a customer. In fact, she's been working for the company for three years, but sporting the designs for over seven! With a house full of boys, CAbi has become a creative outlet for Angie. She says,

"I would never have dreamed of meeting so many interesting, beautiful women through this business. My girlfriend circle has grown exponentially!"

Just as Angie thinks she has come across the best CAbi collection ever, the next season tops it. Every time. It's refreshing to see Angie in a line of business she truly enjoys and reaps the benefits from in flexibility in quality of life with her teenage boys and husband. And the line itself — wearable and on trend.

With a background in Interior Design — many working years under her belt — Angie has landed in a career that suits her lifestyle and love of fashion. She is active in the community, loves to travel and naturally, is a fantastic entertainer!

For those who have not yet been introduced to CAbi, the line (Carol Anderson) was carried in Nordstrom years ago. As the business grew, the desire to offer a fresh, personal buying experience for customers grew. In 2001, Carol Anderson by invitation was founded. Learn more about CAbi's story and be sure to seek out the expertise of Angie!

kaftansummerAfter hanging out at the lake with friends for the holiday weekend, it was confirmed — that kind of relaxation involves very little clothes. Which requires very little packing. Awesome.

While I am not one to hit the pool in the summer, I love the easy breezy nature of kaftans. I could probably live in a kaftan all season long. And I am surely a sucker for floor length hems.

This beautiful, silk flowy Beach Comber kaftan makes me smile. The print reminds me of an exotic escape. That's exactly where my head is these days.

With school ending and the focus shifting to the summer schedule, I only wish I could linger at the lake in my kaftan. Quite the opposite, I believe I will spend the entire summer in my car.

For some reason, my rib cage keeps shrinking. You'd think that would be a great thing. However, as a result, my legs and rear are paying for it visually. I decided it was time to pick up a few new bras. And in my search, this Natori Feathers Contour Bra was so fabulous, I bought it in black and nude. I might just add a few colors, too. This beautiful bra is surprisingly flattering, comfortable, sexy and practical.

I love all the mesh insets this spring. I do. The material is fun and sporty, and it adds a hint of sexy.

This T by Alexander Wang navy and white stripe bikini is too cool for school. You could even wear thisΒ top with a high-waisted skirt after a day on the beach and hit the town running. Super versatile, considering the cropped nature of SS14!

Available at My Theresa

I've seen a lot of jumpsuits. But nothing quite like this.

Jay Ahr's see-through jumpsuit is crafted from loosely woven mesh and lined with internal shorts. It's definitely a show stopper. Yet, I am more obsessed with the assymetrical bralette by Helmut Lang.
