Come September, the shows will take place at Lincoln Centers Damrosch Park, a move that puts the event squarely in its place as a cultural landmark, and that allows the event to adapt to a new century. I, for one, will miss the Tents in Bryant Park. However, I welcome the change of venue.
Fashion week is always a whirl of continual excitement (and exhaustion). Every day is an opportunity to get a glimpse into each designer's interpretation of the season ahead. The good, the bad and the unbelievably phenomenal! Between my style intern, Madeline Perard, and a few of my partners-in-crime in NYC, we’ve got the week covered for you. As always, you will receive up-to-date reporting every two days of fashion week. You'll feel just like you had a front row seat of your own at the shows!
Go ahead, get excited!
See why things got a bit more interesting as the week progressed at NY Fashion Week Mercedes Benz Fashion Week SS10 for the Spring 2010 season. In this video, get the recap from Day 5 and 6. Color, fabric, pattern, and the treatment thereof, were brilliantly executed.
