This morning, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicked off in New York City for the spring 2012 season. This week, thousands of fashion insiders will gather to see the newest collections of over 99 designers. You can catch the fashion recaps here, so stay tuned!
With the big Fashion's Night Out celebration this evening, you can support your local retailers and our economy, from anywhere around the globe. Right here in Charlotte, you can catch the fashion action starting at 6pm at the METROPOLITAN, where 23 boutiques will take over the streets, to Neiman Marcus to the NC Music Factory.

The last two days of fashion week tied everything together. From cut to color, stunning! Come along on a journey of 80s inspired looks and then off to the Orient! Can you tell I loved it? I only said 'love' a gazillion times!

Fashion week is always a whirlwind, even when I am unable to attend in person.
This season, photo shoots and client style sessions kept me away from the Lincoln Center, but it did not keep me away from viewing my fashion shows.
Today ends Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2011, with one more recap to go for day 7 and 8. And you won't want to miss the last two days, as it rounds out nicely, supporting the minimalism we'll experience this spring.
Now, I can go back to focusing on the season that is right in front of us — spring! And what a fabulous season it will be!
