Gorgeous, feminine, elegant, strong. Words that describe what I want out of my wardrobe. These words are also characteristic of Vivienne Tam's Fall 09 collection. Magnificent is another word that comes to mind when I recall the pieces that graced the runway at Fashion Week in February. This dress, in particular, was my favorite! And one of my favorites from the entire week.

I love color. Year round splendid color. Fantastic combinations of color: Magenta + Violet. Green + Black. Royal Purple + Red. Turquoise. Against black opaque tights, the colors are vivid and jump right out at you!

Consider recreating the Vivienne Tam Fall look by pairing luscious colors together in a ladylike manner. Take your black pencil skirt and add a purple top, red belt, black patterned tights and deep blue suede shoes. Fresh and bold and a DIY!
