It's no surprise that I can't go anywhere without being lured into a new pair of boots, or shoes, for that matter. 2008 has certainly proven to be a shoe nesting year. Wonder what 2009 will bring? I assure you, my husband is frightened.

boots3While personal shopping for my sister, I found these babies by All Black at LadySlipper Boutique (but only after we got everything on her list). I have never seen anything quite like them ... taupe patent leather with a suede fold over flap and a teaser heel! They are super comfortable and the price was excellent. And, they instantly turn into over-the-knee boots. Who could resist?

While in Minneapolis, I had the opportunity to work with my sister-in-law for a style session. It was so much fun — it was like dressing a little doll. She has a petite (very) rectangle figure that can rock a mini skirt (so jealous). I put her in clothing I can only wear in my dreams. The biggest gap in her wardrobe happens to be shoes — one of my specialties! Now that I'm back home, I've been emailing her suggestions on where to pick up the necessities. I even called her from a store yesterday morning with great deals!

bootie.thumbnailreport-sig.thumbnailOn my quest to find great shoes at decent prices, I came across Report Signature. I have to say, I am quite impressed. While I am unable to attest to quality because I don't own a pair (yet), these two styles are on my Must Have list. I am seriously drooling over the Newbury Blue Patent Sandal because they remind me of the Versace ones that I could never find (certainly could never afford). The Ellis Oxford Pump rocks the house, too! Find them both here — just type in Report Signature in the search.
