prettyringsMasterpieces go quickly. As with this elegant ring by Cristina Ortiz.

This Milan-based jewelry designer sculpts truly unique pieces inspired by angel wings. Case in point: this handmade ring made from 9-karat rose gold and set with .80-carats of pavé diamonds. I've been watching it — and literally it sold out within a week or so.

I know why. It's a stunner.

No worries though, there are many other beautiful selections from Cristina Ortiz to choose from this spring.

Wrist warrior. That's what I am.

While I love a mix-it-up wrist stack, I could play in Hermès alone all day. I have collected many beauties over the years and one thing is certain, the giddiness never goes away. I love the look, the sound, the design.

I am drawn to color, yet there is always a place and time for neutral goodness. Case in point — these six bracelets, mingling quite happily together. I could layer them differently for every day of the week.

Hermès is a brand that only increases in value. And in my opinion, will never lose its grandeur.

I am diggin' this ring. Simple goodness two times over.

Leave it to Chloé to design the Carly double gold-toned ring. Two simple gold bands joined by a fine chain that can be worn on two fingers or stacked on one. It makes a statement in a subtle, chic way.

This may just become your staple accessory.

Statement necklaces are big this season, as are feathers and fur. So, why not combine them?

That's just what Fiona Paxton did with the Crazie Mazie necklace. This rhodium and gold plated brass necklace showcases embroidered glass beads, Swarovski crystals and marabou feathers. Super fun and festive! Perfect for any holiday event

Sunday night, my son's football team celebrated the end of their awesome season with a big party. It was a lot of fun, yet emotional, as this is his last football season of middle school.

I have been blessed to be team mom for the most incredible group of boys for two years. Truly, these boys are special. And it starts with the parents — they are just as amazing!

I have never come across a more tight-knit, well-mannered, fun-loving team of football players. Most of these boys have played together for three years. While our team has gotten smaller by the year, they've gotten closer, worked harder and developed friendships that extend way beyond the field.

elizabethmartinIn the world of jobs, I obviously love my business of wardrobe styling. However, I have to admit, being team mom for my son's football team inches toward the top of my list. It is not a thankless job. Quite the opposite — it is extremely fulfilling. I love each and every one of my football boys. They are appreciative, respectful and such a joy to be around.

Their parents spoil me each year at the end of the season. And there is always a twinge of guilt, as their boys make it easy to be team mom. This year, I was moved to tears with the presentation from one football mom who has become a friend, and has been such a help to me over the years. She made the connection from soul of the team to team mom to the gorgeous beaded bracelets designed by Elizabeth Martin, where each player was represented in one bracelet, my family (son included) in the second bracelet. Oh my goodness! I get to keep my football boys close to me at all times. I cannot tell you how touched I am and how memorable these bracelets are to me.

Elizabeth Martin designs a premier collection of jewelry mixing color, texture and form. Each carefully chosen piece comes together in an unexpected way to tell a unique story — tribal beads from Nepal and Tibet, vintage Afghani coins and gold-leaf buddha beads from India combine with smoky quartz, smooth onyx and fossilized coral. Each limited edition and one-of-a-kind bracelet is a work of wearable art.

I believe I just may have to collect a few more treasures!
